Hi ... Spoke to Dr Gupta, who was lovely as expected.
Can't say 100% as it's a Kardia reading and not a 12 lead, but he thinks I have flutter/atrial tachycardia with heart block. Meaning my atria is fluttering but not reaching my ventricals, hence the low rate. Basically it's what a pace and ablate procedure would aim to do. He explained at length about the pace and ablate and it was very reassuring and it's really not as grim as I thought. It's possible I may have to have the pace and ablate so it out my mind at rest.
I also was intouch with my clinic today and I was in NSR so that means it's not permanent so that's good news.
So the plan is a day at a time, the option is a third ablation and if unsuccessful pace and ablate. Suggested I lose more weight...even though I've lost 13st there is room to lose more it all will help.
So even though it's been a stressful week I'm happy I've got a name for my strange arrhythmia and if needed, the pace and ablate isn't as bad as I thought. He is in the process of doing a video on the subject so I will be watching that.
So speaking to Dr Gupta was worth every penny and I would highly recommend him. Thank you to those that supported me ...it means a lot ❣️
