And I don’t mean “my final Christmas” - I hope not anyway 😃

In the south west of England, it's been too warm to have our heating on! We've discovered laughter makes us hot too. Would recommend the small charades game from M&S. Was reduced to £2 last time I looked.

Happy new year Kaz. Give us a week or so and we'll certainly be envying your warm climate.

It’s quite cool here at the moment. Forecast for the next week is low to mid 20s C each day.

Hi Kaz. I remember those Christmas holidays so well. Lived 10 years in NZ been back nearly 3! I do miss those long holidays over Christmas but could never get used to a hot Christmas! It’s not right being daylight til late in NZ as the Christmas lights don’t quite have the same effect lol!

On the plus side we can reverse that picture come summer lol! Happy 2019!

😃 Thanks - it’s funny, we’ve lived here for over 50 years and I don’t remember a cold Christmas. My mum who has Alzheimer’s was saying in winter time that it’s really cold so it must be getting close to Christmas. Obviously reliving memories from many years ago.

Hello fellow kiwi

.

Bless your Mum. My sister still lives there too. Went out when they were first married and now in their 70’s. They live down in Timaru and still love the place. We were just outside Christchurch but the earthquakes did it for me. Psychological torture not knowing when the next one is coming. Maybe that’s why I have developed Ectopics due to the stress of it all.

Yes stress has such a big effect on our lives, even if we don’t feel that we’re particularly stressed at times.
