I am finding a Mindfulness course of great help at the moment - about to start the last week of a 4 week course. It's something I've never done before and I can certainly recommend it.
A new course called 'Maintaining a Mindful Life' starts with FutureLearn on 13 November for 4 weeks and it's free to join.

It's run from Monash University in Melbourne via FutureLearn and, although you can move at your own pace, it's advisable to have about 3 hours per week to listen, read articles and make comments (if you wish). If you google FutureLearn you can find it and the many other interesting looking online courses run by them.
Have signed up for the introductory course. Have completed a few courses already with future learn and have really enjoyed them x thanks for the heads up x
I have been using the 'Calm' app for over a year now. I have found it to be a great help with breathing and relaxing and sitting out periods when I go into AF.
Many thanks for highlighting this course. I know it has been mentioned previously, but I neglected to make a note. My GP recommended the calm ap the other day.
Yes, Mindfulness is a great help. I don't follow any course but I do have a couple of booklets of brief recommendations and try to get an hour in the evening, when I do a mixture of Mindfulness, Yoga/similar exercise and prayer - I find it great for clearing your mind e.g. I frequently have 4 or more post-it stickers on things to do the following day.
