Dr Sanjay Gupta...The connection between the Heart the Stomach and the vagus nerve
Hi Steve112
Thx for putting up the video.
This subject is something that keeps on fascinating me.
Dr Gupta's other videos inspired me to write about this subject: myafibheart.com/ectopic-hea...
I wonder how accurate can someone "control" their Ectopic beats by looking after their gut?

Steve. Thanks so much for that link. I normally have so little faith in the medical profession (which is a problem when you're in trouble and relying on them...), so I found this conversation really heartening (pun intended).
Partly because of this lack of faith I think it is down to ourselves to have to try to sort this where we are able, which I am determined to do as much as I can. I have all the signs that my paf is vagally triggered (left side sleeping, overeating, etc) so this video gave me more clarity around things I need to think about, and more confidence to believe a lot if what I already thought.
Thanks again.
Interesting. I think I got from this that how exactly the nerves do what is still unknown. I always find it interesting that chiropractic knowledge about nerves and how the back impacts them is never mentioned.
Wow. I was planning to post on that very subject but chickened out because I feared ridicule - because it's never mentioned so it seems off the wall.
I had physio last year for a trapped nerve which caused real pain in my arm. So could not the vagus nerve be under similar pressure at times. I am planning the same stretching exercises i did last year to see whether they have any impact on the vagus response.
I'll keep people updated...
Hi Minimalist, if you look for my recent posts, you will find more information if you have not seen them. One was "cure for atrial fibrillation". Nerves apparently can take a year to heal so perhaps expecting quick results may be asking too much. Yet, sometimes quick results happen so you won't know unless you try. Unfortunately, I suspect negative results can also happen at points in the process so continued treatment may be necessary to turn a negative around.
