Is it proven that Ribaraxaban causes joint pain due to sometimes inducing small bleeds there? This seems a question no one medical I know is able to answer.

No anticoagulant makes you bleed. Yes if you injure something it may take longer to stop bleeding but this applies to all anticoagulants. I suspect this is urban myth and quite unproven.

Thank you. I read on this site a couple of days ago that this drug did cause this problem. I wanted to check.

We have had posters say that they have blood in their urine and stools since taking NOAC's and some saying bleeding in their eyes.

You see Bob d, it is confusing, you the volunteer says Rivaraxaban does not cause bleeding and subsequent joint pain yet the next post from the drug company says it does .

drugs.com isnt the drug company --it's a website that seems to compile info from the pharma company product inserts. the possible side effect of joint pain is listed as 'incidence unknown.' Bottom line ...ask your health care provider and/or pharmacist.
