Hi,
10 days after ablation and not a peep from the wound in the groin, its healed well with no bruising. From last night the area is achy and painful and there is a hard lump under the skin. Is this the same for others?

Sounds normal to me but speak to your arrhythmia nurse if you are worried.
Yes, I had a lump the size of a walnut and was told that as long as it didn't increase in size it was ok. It took about 2-3 weeks before i started to notice it decreasing noticeably, but it went eventually. I do wish they would explain these sorts of symptoms prior to the procedure.
Thanks for your feedback and yes I agree if only we where told what to expect after procedure 🌸
Hi Purple
I'm at four weeks post op tomorrow, I had a small lump under the entry wound and a lot of bruising around my upper thy and I don't bruise easy.
My muscle at the top of my thy still aches now and then, and I also get the odd shooting pain but I've put these down to healing.
Hope this helps.
Ant.
