Apxiban

My dad has just started to take Apxiban from Monday, and today had weakness for around half an hour. Has anyone else experienced this when starting Apxiban?

With all due respect, the weakness your father experienced could be caused by loads of things apart from the apixaban. My own experience of taking apixaban for more than 3 years is that it has caused me no side-effects at all - but, of course, your father's mileage may vary!

really important that you maintain the medication call 111 if in the UK for advice. If still not happy contact pharmacy or GP that prescribed. might just be a side effect but check to make sure but whatever you do .....don't stop taking the medication until you are offered alternative
