Well had my ablation on Friday it had to be stopped due to phrenic nerve damage so now have another little problem but hope it will heal it's self, have to have it checked by x-ray 1month.But looking on bright side the ablation may still work with what was accomplished and the whole procedure was not unpleasant just uncomfortable.

My Flecanide has been stopped .Bisoprolol down to 2.5 per day.Lisinopril 10 mg +good old Rivoroxaban as usual and forever I hope.

Have some A F this morning but know that can be expected. Intend to now follow Bob's instructions 're recovery.

Will post as things progress note word progress!

Jane

This is mostly good, Jane. Isn't phrenic nerve damage one of the better complications and is something that takes time but does improve?

I thought it felt fantastic to be able to give up daily flecainide and it can still be used as a pill in the pocket if needed.

Thanks Rellim256.

Flecanide cannot be taken by me again, apparently I should not have been on it at all because of a previous heart problem it has done more harm than good. All take note you need to see an EP sooner rather than later not just a cardiologist. Anyway onward and upward .Jane

Yes, flecainide is not suitable for everyone and an EP is the person to see.

All sounds positive Jane, but of course, it is disappointing about the nerve damage. As Relim says, this is something which generally improves over time so hopefully you will soon be fine. Like your positive spirit too....can only help the healing process.....clearly, like the rest of us, you value Bob's pearls of wisdom, so no need to remind you to take it easy for at least two weeks......so I wont!!....best wishes, John

Don't know why I said that.Know your ablation was quite some time ago.But anyway a little rest is always a good thing, and I learn so much from reading all the comments on this site it's been a great help to me.Jane
