Well had a bad few weeks, evil AF started 2 weeks ago which turned into flutter, 125 BPM apx. Two weeks and couldn't take no more so today was cardio verted.. This was my worst fear and I can honestly say, from the biggest drama queen in the north there was nothing to it, although when I came round I asked the handsome nurse to dance for me and marry me!!!
So I'm in normal sinus now, also I'm on 200mg daily amiodarone to keep things hopefully at bay until my ablation in apx 3 months. I am not happy about taking this drug but no others work so have little choice. Has anyone and advice what nasties to watch out for?
So onwards and upwards and have to stop shivering about the ablation, the last 2 weeks have been horrendous and don't want to live like this. Luckily I have an excellent medical team so just need to lose a couple of stone and get as fit as poss.
Love and best wishes to all x o x o x

My reply disappeared!! Anyway, I have only been having episodes every 6 months, converted at home after 8 then 11 days so was hoping it may bugger off this time also but no such luck. My rate was too high and was starting to panic but honestly the zap is nothing to worry about. In the past so many on here have advised me to have it done but was too scared, wish I had of listened! Good luck with yours xxxx
Yep I will get there! Wish I hadn't cancelled my ablation last year due to fear, I shall not be a shiverer this year!!! X hope you are keeping well x x
Isn't it the most wonderful feeling to come around from the anaesthetic and be in normal rhythm! After weeks of suffering there you are cured. Don't go doing what I did once which was to walk up a hill the day after and immediately backI went in abnormal rhythm.
Hi Jean, no chance of walking up any hills I'm taking it very easy this week and enjoying been waited on x seriously though,I need to build my confidence up, I'm so scared of going back to flutter I'm walking in slow motion!! Xxx
