I noticed that the AF patient's day and AA patient's days are at the same location and time. Looking at both agendas, it appears that there's some good stuff for us on both agendas - especially ablation information.
Are we allowed to choose which sessions to attend? As I want the ablation information, but don't see it as being a major focus on the AF agenda.
Can anyone shed some light that's been there before? Here's the two:
I think you will find that the subject in AA sessions is not what you want to know. You actually register for one conference but it may be possible to attend a particular session if you ask when registering. Do look at the fact sheet/booklet on ablation on AF Association main website as this covers all aspects of the subject and is easily understood. You will also be able to chat with others who can shares their experiences.
Hello, Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons with the ICC, we cannot allow guests to swap between sessions. There will be a few Q&A sessions during the AF Association day, and there is also a session on rate control and rhythm management which may include ablation. You can also download our ablations for AF booklet which you might find interesting.
Best wishes, Rachel - Patient Services Associate - AF Association
I believe this has changed and we are now able to swap between to two, correct? I need the ablation info as on the waiting list for one in a couple months time. Thank you.
