My doctor came in to see me today. The bad news is the med Tikosyn was my last med resort. I am not tolerating it so they stopped it. The good news is I am being transferred from Moore Regional (Pinehurst, NC USA) to Eastern Carolina University Medical center (Greenville, NC USA). I have to have the sympathetic nerve severance. This may not stop all the arrhythmias entirely but it will definitely keep me from near death. The even better information I learned is heart transplant patients live without this nerve being attached. So if they can do it so can I. So I will update as much as possible besides the long (near 4 hour) boring ambulance ride from one hospital to the other. I will comment on the facility and faculty. I have heard good things so far so I am looking forward to my own experience. Sending hugs to all that need one or not and lots of love. 💘
