Suddenly got AF at 22.30 which I did not need as I had 3 meetings the next day. As I was not feeling bad I decided to go to London with AF and see how it went. I was fine , think being busy made me forget about it a bit. Of course, once the meetings were over and I was on the train on the way home I went back into sinus... typical.

Working with AF
This is the frustrating thing about paroxsysmal AF. Glad you weren't too symptomatic.
I remember an EP who gave us a talk a few years ago telling us he was in the middle of an ablation when he went into AF. We are all different and whilst some of us can manage and carry on others are not so capable or able to function. AF is a mongrel condition.
Typical like me :). Sympathetic nervous exciment or positive stress.
Well done, distraction works for me too!
I went into AF whilst out shopping yesterday - after last week's debacle I just decide to ignore it and go from bench to bench until I got to the shop I needed - where I knew it would be quiet, cool and dark and I could sit undisturbed and do my Mindfulness, a bit of EFT and breathing. It worked and although it took 90 mins for HR to calm down so that I could get to my car and drive myself home I was far less stressed than last week.
Pretty shattered today though.
Keep calm and carry on - if you can!
I used to stay at home if struck down by AF but don't do so now.
It takes courage to 'carry on regardless' in a professional working situation, well done.
I have to go with the flow. Still waiting for echo on Friday, and to discuss the results of a recent 24 hour monitor. I'm thinking that different things must occur with my heart, from one moment to the next... as one minute I'm ok to potter about doing light gardening, then the next I'm feeling sweaty with arm pains and breathless just sitting doing nothing. When I'm in AF the symptoms are so unpredictable.
