Off to see my original cardiologist today. Not the one who I'm under at Freeman but one who diagnosed my original af then transferred when he found my other heart stuff too problematic. Been suffering last two days with some chest pain breathlessness and few palpitations but my heart rate much over 100. Going to mention it to him. If I don't my mam will as she going with me. Don't know what will happen as it's just a follow up appt.

Well strange day. Some episodes of af for definite but some of the palpitations and irregular heart rates could be down to my bp being sky high. So I've had a change of bp meds. Going to start Entresto which is the new drug for patients with heart failure. I do have dilated cardiomyopathy. It's also used to treat high blood pressure as I asked my cardiologist why I was prescribed it as I thought only patients with severe heart failure could have it where mine is just mild but he said it's ok. The af I have to wait for monitor results but if I feel really unwell head up to a&e.

So I'm still stuck waiting to see what's next on my af journey but might have some answers as to why some readings were irregular but not fast. Hopefully this new med brings my bp down.
