I haven't used the unit for several months and is attached to the back of my phone. It now doesn't seem to work and I wondered if it's possible to get it looked at / repaired locally or in this country. Anybody know?

Yes, change the batteries. Also I found it harder to use when attached to my iPhone. So I just held in near the phone instead as it doesn't need to be actually attached. Also, as I'm sure you already know so sorry, but dampen your fingers slightly before use.

Thank you Koll. I did clean the connectors but hopefully it will be a battery prob. I'm going to try and remove it from the phone and I will damper my fingers in future. Thank you for the advice.
It's likely to be the battery, but may also be another app using the microphone.
I also had to disable NFC (Near Field Communications - for Apple pay or Google pay, Oyster payments etc.) on my Android phone otherwise it didn't work for some reason.

Take it to a kiosk and get the battery changed. Unless you have jewellers screw driver you will never get the battery cover off.
Thank you BobD, never thought about the battery.

The trouble is that if you leave it attached to your phone there is a high likely hood of shorting the contacts should you put it down on anything conductive and that would kill the battery in seconds. It does warn you about this in the bumph.
Thanks Bob, am going to detach it from the phone when I change the battery.
