Thanks for posting, it's filed on my 'Ablation' file. I take a good quality 1gm Vit C once a week as an 'insurance policy'.

It only stays in the body for up to about six hours. We cannot store it or make it, so you would do better to split it up and take it more often - or take more. In particular we use a lot when we are ill eg with a cold.

I have taken 1000mg Vit C daily for the past 25 years as recommended by a Cancer Help Group. Apparently you cannot overdose with it so it's worth a try. Any surplus to body requirements is peed out. My old, and now retired GP, told me hat I had the most expensive urine in North Wales.
