I've given up bisoprolol already

Sadly bisoprolol is not suiting me, after only 3days I'm going back to nebivolol. I have had far more arrhythmia in the last few days than ever, and with a resting pulse of 112 I just feel it's wrong. Back to square one....

should I have given it longer?

I think sometimes we just get a gut feeling about a certain tablet not being right for our condition. Were you right to stop taking Bisoprolol after just a few days? Well who can say. A resting pulse of 112 certainly doesn't sound right, does it. I took Bisoprolol briefly, but it did absolutely nothing for me and I returned to a low dose of Metoprolol which did work.

When I first started taking Flecainide, it made my sight go a little hazy and I felt odd, which I didn't like. Today I thank goodness that I persevered with it as it's turned out to be my wonder drug and I feel normal again.

We all have choices in life and have to make judgements, you felt Bisoprolol wasn't right for you so I'd accept that decision as there are so many other pills to try.

Wishing you well.

Jean

I felt like I'd been hit by a train for the first two weeks. I've now been on it for nearly five years and have no issues with it.

I should have preservered I know, but I felt out of my body! Weirdest of feelings, plus the idea was to lower my heart rate but it put it up to 112 while resting.

we make the best decisions we can at the time. I'd only just be diagnosed so was really scared to stop but i can remember the out of body experiences. Hope you get sorted
