Hi im a guy 64 years old . I had a pm put in 5 yrs ago. Still got 5 years left before replacement. I had my mitro valve replaced 6 years ago with a pig valve. My pm is on the left side of my chest. Today ive had constant acheing around area of pacemaker and shoulder area too. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Sorry can't help you on that one but suggest that you get it checked out. If in UK why not ring NHS hotline for advice?
I have had pain and soreness around my PM many times. I have had it for almost 6 years. Have gone to the ER twice with it through the years. Sometimes it can be caused by the way you sleep. Laying on your left side. However you should always get it checked out. Best of luck to you.
