A carotid doppler only identifies TIAs caused by narrowing of the carotid artery, not strokes caused by AF. You need and MRI scan for that but it's probably too late now, as a TIA is transient by nature.
GP said that it was to late for MRI he just wants
to make sure arteries are clear
