As someone who has had truly terrible experiences of catheter procedures (angiograms) adminstered via the groin, it is encouraging to think that non-invasive treatments for AF may become possible. I am sure this will give hope to those of us who have preferred to stay on medications.

wow. Perhaps those of us who have pierced ears can have some special studs to wear if we don't have a hearing aid.

Very interesting Juggsy

I hope that if my PAF continues to cause me problems then an electric stimulus to my ear would be all that would be required to set my rhythm right. Without a 6th ablation.

I have been convinced for many years that PAF was autonomic as I had POTS (autonomic dysfunction) with AF - I used to get what I can only describe as a strong adrenaline rush as a precursor to AF which I knew to be autonomic reaction.

Interestingly enough, since AF returned in Sept, I don't get that sensation but neither do I have POTS.
