Since sotalol is not recommended for AF in UK this might needs some overseas members to answer.

As you are in the UK how long have you been on sotalol? Was it an EP or a cardiologist or a GP who prescribed it?
You could try a different beta blocker but it's a common side effect of all, but should in theory be less in those that are less likely to cross to the brain. Otherwise consider a calcium antagonist like verapamil afer discussion with your doctor
I have been on sotalol since april of this year and no vivid dreams for me! I was prescribed this drug by an e.p. At leeds lgi.
I do intend to have another appt. with an e.p. As i am worried that its not officially recognised in u.k. Are there other drugs available to try in u.k.
No vivid dreams when I was on it. But fatigue and depression. Then again was on 240mg twice a day.
I also had vivid dreams on Sotalol which would disturb my sleep and leave me feeling really tired during the day I am now on Amiodorone and feel so much better
