Does Flecainide cause some swelling in feet and ankles?

hello everybody, I started daily Flecainide a month ago 2 doses of 100mg/daily, I noticed some swelling in my feet and ankles, I would like to know if anybody experienced similar symptoms or side effects when taking daily Flecainide? appreciate the feed back.

Swelling of the feet and lower legs is listed as one of the less common side effects of Flecainide but there could be other reasons for it. I would certainly ask my doctor about this, especially if it is a recent symptom.

I've been taking the same dose as you for over two years without problems but someone else may be along soon with similar experience.

I had swelling of the ankles and feet with flecainide but actually found it to be caused by the bisoprolol dose being too high

Yes I have had swollen feet and ankles and take Flecanide . I've tried to get answers, went through vascular ultrasound with no explanation. Usually only happens in warm weather but I do believe side effect of Flecanaide. Only other med I take is Pradaxa but had swelling before starting anti coagulant. I also have nerve pain in legs and feet and ringing in my ears. I've been to neurologist and no answers. Going to try accupuncturist for some relief, Gracey

I also take 100mg Flecainide twice a day and have several side effects. I have swollen feet and ankles, but had them before I started Flecainide. I have some blurred vision, frequent headaches and get kind of queasy if I go too long without eating. It has helped my AF some, but not totally by any means. I am nervously waiting to be scheduled for an ablation. If you didn't have swelling before starting Flecainide, I would certainly check with your doctor. It is a symptom of heart disease.

Recently my Flecainide dose was increased from 200mg (slow release) daily to 300mg. Since then my ankles and feet - especially my left - have been swelling after sitting at the computer, or standing. They’re back to normal in the morning.
