In NYC and got a horrible episode of AF lasted almost 17 hours. I wonder if jet lag can set it off, it happened last time as well but not as badly. Happy to say I am ok now😊

AF on holiday
Tiredness and not enough sleep are well known triggers. Dehydration is too. It's important to drink plenty on a Flight as as you can become dehydrated without feeling it.
Pleased you're ok now. Have a great time, drink more water that you feel you need and get your head down. Zzzzzz....

I'm inclined to lean towards dehydration. I'm sure being jet lagged doesn't help nor the concerns you may have had. I always make sure I drink lots of water on flights so book an aisle seat!!
I'm very glad you're okay now! I find I get AF after arduous travel (about a week later). I'm guessing it's the stress and strain and quite likely dehydration too. Take care...
I flew to Canada and the flight was 9 hours. I had a few episodes of AF mainly during the first two nights I arrived in Banff. I put it down to perhaps the altitude as well????. I was okay after a couple of days and had no problem after I flew back to England.
