Six months post ablation

24th September is the 6th month date. Had my ablation on the 24th March... and I celebrated my 82nd birthday in Harefield Hospital.

So far the ablation has been a complete success. Just the odd little sharp intake of breath and still breathless on exertion, but no more than I was before. I had absolutely no problems with the procedure - but a few that were caused after by medication which made me realise that it is better to have the AF dealt with, if possible, than rely on tablets which may not suit.

Just to hopefully make other people feel better, I also have COPD and asthma. The procedure didn't affect either. I am now back enjoying all my various craft clubs and reading the posts every day in case I can help anyone.

Must get the flags out on Saturday for my half year celebration.

Thank you for bothering to come back and tell us. So many success stories are lost because people don''t it tends to screw the results in favour of failures and complications.

Great news... Glad to hear it is going so well. I had mine on 29th March and its going very well for me too - didn't realise really that it was 6 months already !!
