Hi Salty - Yes, quite a few people on here have them. If you type bracelet into the search engine on the right at top of this page it will throw up all the posts.

Yes, wouldn't leave home without it. I found a red rubberized wrist band that denotes my use of anticoagulants and that I have 3 stents

Yes, I bought from the idband people jennydog has linked. I got mine engraved with the Apixaban doseage and times taken and there was room on the back for 4 lines of other info. Good quality item which I always wear when away from the house.

Yes I have a medic alert bracelet

Hi salty, yes I wear one, got it online from

MedicAlert. I splashed out and got a silver one, big mistake, only wore it a week and already scratched. So I would suggest a cheaper plastic one for everyday wear.

For anyone with IPhone - there is a medical emergency information page which can be opened when screen is locked. All emergency personnel know about this. As I have complications I use this.

Had a few bracelets but my info kept changing and I got fed up with trying to keep up!

Yes, I have medic alert... Seems very sensible to me. It's silver and looks like jewellery.

Yes, I have a silver colour expanding bracelet with a medical condition on one of the links and the international medical symbol. Recently I bought another two links with "Atrial Fibrillation" and "Taking anticoagulants" on and I simply removed two plain links and inserted these. Easy to do, not expensive, part of the Daisy Charms range. I just googled medical alert bracelet. Feel more confident when out and about :)

Amazon.co.uk suits me with a good range of bracelets.

Years ago I wore a Medialert bracelet all the time, I was 17 on warfarin, had open heart surgery and was allergic to antibiotics. I haven't worn a bracelet for years, maybe I should, but I do have the ICE app on my phone which is better than nothing and I carry cards giving details of my conditions and medication. I'm off to look at those bracelets 😁

Thank you.

When I first started with pAF I got myself a pendant which I had engraved my details on and also the meds I was taking. Unfortunately it was only a year later that my meds were changed so a word of advice would be to have something where you can change the meds and dosage easily!! Stay well Anne

I'm glad you asked. I've been wondering about a bracelet or pendant, as I can't always have the card supplied with Pradaxa with me. Lots of suggestions - thanks everyone.
