For a very long time now I've suffered from awful dreams l thought it was the statin that I take so I stopped the statin for 3 nights didn't help could it be any of the other medications Sotalol, clopidigrel, ranatidine or lisinipril

I wouldn't know but I have taken one drug (none of the ones you list) that most others say they get on with fine, but I felt dreadful, extremely depressed. It was definitely the drug because firstly, I don't get depressed, and I when I took myself off it, I went back to normal quickly. Started the drug again, straight downhill 😂.

If any of those drugs are beta blockers, then it will be those. I briefly took bisoprolol and had terrible dreams too.

(Just looked them up and Sotalol is a Betablocker).

I had very bad dreams when on Bisoprolol, so changed to a different beta blocker - Antenelol. Dreams not quite so nightmarish now, but still incredibly vivid and often disturbing.

I had dreadful, nightmare type, dreams when I was on Bisoprlol and had to come off them. On Nebivolol now - still seem to have constant dreams but at least they are not unpleasant.

I have written before on the forum about my dreams and nightmares. I seem to dream all night sometimes No wonder I wake up tired! Its like being on a big long trip sometimes with one dream after another. I am on 50mg flecainide which I take 3 times a day and 1 x25mg Atenolol. Also 1 x 5mg Felodipine .
