No surprise there for me. EP had said they were accurate and he and GP accept the AliveCor readings.
The nurses at Sir Charles Gaidner in Perth WA had never seen one so they where very interested x
My current challenge is getting mine replaced under warranty as it is faulty. Overall I think that it has been brilliant but ... - ... I have not been associated with the development (I wish I had!!!). There are quite a few enhancements that could be made, maybe in time.
I personally have done some checks, though these were not completely as scientific as I would have liked, and I have found it to be accurate against a few ECGs and the counts. It also can show some very interesting things if you look at the results carefully.
To me it also showed up the inaccuracies of other devices when I checked against them (it was worrying how out some others were). However whilst many medics in the UK who do know about it really like it, there are very many who don't and I think that this is a really missed opportunity.
