Yesterday I had my cryo ablation at Liverpool. All seemed to go well and it wasn't as bad as I thought. The one thing that I was not expecting was that as the freezing was near the oesophagus I got two ice cream headaches during the procedure. When it was over I had to have a couple of warm blankets on me as my teeth were chattering.
Dr Todd was very pleased with the way it went, so here's hoping that's it done the trick.

Now you have to rest, rest, and rest. Your heart has been scarred and it needs help to heal.

Well done Lynn. Derek Todd is one of the best so you were in good hands. Now do nothing for the next week and not much more for the next. Slow and gentle recovery is what matters now..
