Ok so have had my letter from the EP who a lasted my atrial flutter - all very technical so googling alternative and would paste it on here but can't seem to put my photo of the letter on here - so here goes :

Bidirectional conduction was see. Across the cavotricispid isthmus and a radio frequency lesion was created abolishing this. There was a recurrence at 20 minutes and a further RF lesion resulted in persistent block.

I then went back into AF at the end of the case. I was once again cardio vetted and my CTI line once again investigated. Again this confirmed bidirectional block.

I am now on sotalol.

I will be seeing him again in April.

Any comments, observations etc would be most gratefully received plus what it means in lay mans terms.

Have a good Winnie the Pooh day 😀
