Due my 2nd Ablation tomorrow.... feeling more nervous than the first time. Then tonight I start sneezing with a stuffy nose. Hope they still do it.

I hope all goes well for you and that you have a speedy recovery without any bruising this time. Hopefully they will have learned from Liverpool. Be sure to let us know how you get on.

Are you having conscious sedation rather than GA? If so, a sneeze and stuffy nose shouldn't make a difference. Before my ablation , i wouldn't go near anyone who even looked pale for fear of it postponing the ablation. And I had a few sneezing episodes that week and panicked it would stop the ablation going head. It didn't. And it didn't even progress into a cold!!! I was just conscious of every sniffle. Have a warm drink, try something relaxing tonight and get an early night and look forward to your recovery. Best wishes.

I've only sneezed a few times just a bit of a runny nose after a Curry today, however feel a bit sinusy and had a little bit of a sore throat this morning.

I won't be having a GA - last time I was awake just lightly sedated with medazilan before the actual PVI process when I had a vasovagal and passed out.

Add my best wishes, 2nd one did it for me so hope it is similar for you and all goes well. I too had sneezes, runny nose and sore throat the night before and was convinced they would cancel but all went ahead.

Good luck, try not to worry too much about it.

Good luck, today. I agree with BobD, the sniffles were probably just teasing you into unnecessary additional worrying and if you are just having sedation, it wouldn't matter anyway.
