Now have ablation date ...

After not being put on the waiting list I emailed the consultant who apologised and suggested I start on anticoagulants which I did in case a cancellation came up. Today I got the call with the date of my ablation, 15 January so not too long to wait. Have been in AF a couple of times this week so looking forward to having it done :)

That's good news Kiwi, it sounds like your consultant is on the ball with regard to anti-coagulants and glad that your ablation date isn't too long a wait ... now you can enjoy Christmas while looking forward to a hopefully AF free new year.

That's great Kiwi. The hardest thing about an ablation is the waiting if you ask me. Not long to go :-)

Best of luck, I emailed my E.P yesterday as I am on a waiting list for an ablation, but not on any coagulation. So hoping I can get this sorted.

I have been told I need to be on it for 3 months before ablation?
