Just when I thought it was all over following what has so far been a successful second ablation (19th May) I had a pacing check on my pacemaker last week and was told one of the leads where damaged causing the batteries to run down much quicker than would normally be expected. I now need a 24 hour heart monitor check before I see a different cardiologist at the end of August. Anyone else had a similar problem?
