I'm asking this question here as some of you are taking BP medicine like me. I've just been prescribed minoxidil .

Please tell me if it has worked for you. On reading about it I see that it is prescribed for baldness. The next step is renal denervation and from what I've been reading this procedure has been discredited this year. Any information would be very gratefully received as I feel very scared. After two days of this new medicine , minoxidil , I am so tired it seems to be having the same effect as beta blockers although it is a completely different med. one of the side effects is rapid pulse but mine has done the opposite and I seem to have no energy left. Has anyone any experience of this medicine ? My blood pressure has come down abit but at what cost ! It's come down to 173/56 and pulse is 47. Any ideas? Teresa
