Hi R1100SI,Don,t know if anti fungal creams are safe with warfarin, but I got rid of my athletes foot,Simply put two table spoons of Bicarb-soda in hot water soak feet for ten minuets then dry. Will feel a bit sore for a day or two but after that just repeat every 3 months or so to keep on top no more athletes foot.

Canesten cream but also give this a try when it clears up. Stop using Fabric conditioner / softeners. They have a waterproofing effect on towel especially. Which means you don't get fully dry between your toes, thus aggravating / prolonging the effects of your condition.

Cheers

I suffer from the athletes foot fungal infection elsewhere on my bodu. Pharmacist knowing I was on Warfarin recommended Canestan which works swiftly.

Hi just wondered how you got on with the athletes foot,I had it for 20 years, tried allsorts of creams and talcs, spent a fortune,Then someone told me about bicarbonate of soda believe me it really does work after only one soaking and its very cheap. If you do try it let me know how you get on

Chemist said the canestan duo should be ok but said docs can provide one that is safer and more effictve prescription ony type.

Have docs appointment Tuesday

Will try bicarbonate thing after visit as don't want to go cured after waiting for the appointment
