Off meds now for almost two months.

My Cardiologist stopped all my meds on 22nd January, to make my P. A.F. come on as i was having symptoms anyway, but i have not really had any thing to significant except palpitations for short periods every day,and feeling really sick every time i eat, but today after having an iced drink i felt so unwell like i was about to faint I'm not sure if it was the drink or AF but since then i have felt unwell i fell really dizzy and have a headache not sure if this is related. any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

I would go and get checked out, maybe you're in AF. Ice cold drinks can cause AF for me.

A slushy Iced drink triggered my only major AF episode in June 2012. With me, my chest was visibly jumping around and my arms began to twitch, v. scary. I also began to feel faint and unable to think too straight. As soon as my heart rate returned to normal I felt the blood woosh back and my clarity return!

Have you taken your pulse or blood pressure?

If you have a smart phone ( iPhone or similar) there is an app you can download called 'heart rate' by 'azumio' which is very useful to record your pulse and it's regularity from a finger tip.

Thank you have just loaded that app and at the mo my pulse is 74

Hi thanx for the reply today i have felt unwell dizzy shaky and headache, so not sure what is going on, will see how i am tomorrow, not taken pulse and unfortunately i do not have an I phone just an Android phone.
