Immunity during docetaxel

How can I increase my husband's immunity during docetaxel please

Tall Allen is “spot on” and neulasta should definitely be discussed with his Oncologist. TA is my “go to resource” for more complex questions about PC treatments, and I highly recommend his advice and expertise.

Also, the loss of white blood cells can not only compromise the immune system, it can also cause a serious condition called fibrile neutropenia. The good news is that possibly using neulasta and watching blood chemistry (WBC & CBC) closely during chemo can help greatly in preventing or minimizing immune system problems and possibly neutropenia.

I’m recovering from a bout of neutropenia and it was painful, worrisome and put me in the hospital for over a week getting IV antibiotics, whole blood and lots of rest. My MO is fantastic and was watching my blood work closely during Docetaxel treatments; however, I took a spill that broke my ankle. That changed everything, so a word to the wise is to keep your MO immediately informed if you have an injury or other condition that stresses your body.
