"When is it time for a new pet considering I still have a prostate?" When your PSA reaches 2.0 or is rapidly doubling.

Ciao, Misterino. My MO indicated that a PSA of 2.0 is the benchmark he will use. I understand that for a scan to be effective, tumors need to be large enough to “see.” Apparently, this corresponds to a PSA of at least 2. I migliore auguri per te.

Talk with a medical oncologist. You were not cured at first, just no evidence of disease, BED

I'm Gleason 6 , in 2014 treated with brachytherap . in 2019 I had a metastasis to the ischio pubic branch treated with radiotherapy.. since 2019 psa has dropped from 2.6 to 0.02 (nadir) in 2023.. today it is 0.14.. but you tell me I have to wait for 2.0 since I still have the prostate.

I’m not all would wait until a PSA of 2.0. PSMA scan can identify metastasis sites with PSA as low as 0.20 or 0.25. I would (and did) get a scan when that range is reached, at least for baseline. Waiting for 2.0 is just surrender.

I have read medical reports from recent years, they say to wait for the PSA to reach 2.0 ng. I'm worried. without prostate 0.2, with prostate 2.0? but I'm a singular case because I'm PCA and I've never had hormonal treatment
