Just a word of advice. When doing Docetaxel chemotherapy, don’t miss taking the prednisone. I somehow forgot to take mine this morning and started feeling really run down and just lousy. When I realized what I’d done, I took my pill and rested for a bit. I started feeling better quickly. I don’t know if it was coincidental, but it sure seemed related. Have a great weekend all. My Best, Jim

Probably not coincidental Jim. I'm so glad it worked quickly. Good wishes.

Always love hearing from you John. There really is a secret. I work in the oil fields of North Dakota and had to drive 65 miles back to get my med. by the time I got there I was so beat that I could have stuck it about anywhere. Luckily, it ended up in my mouth. Have a great Holiday Season.

My Best, Jim. Keep the humor coming 😀

Wow I'm posting with a real LANDMAN..... (billy bob thornton) Stay safe and have a Great Holiday Season to you, your family and "the guys".....

Driving note: 65 miles = 65 minutes in North Dakota, 65 miles = 6.5 days in NYC.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Hi John. Try to be a good boy and Santa just might show up at your house. 50-50 chance

Haven’t been on for quite a while. Glad to see you still have your humor. Sharon

Santa who? Wow, I gave up hope seeing you guys, thought you all were in the H.U. witness protection program. Nice to hear from you. I guess you're playing and having fun with the Grandkids. Hopefully we will hear more from all of you and it'll be all good news. So Sharon, Remember to keep "the boss" hopping and give the little guys a hug and kiss from me. Merry Christmas.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Solid advice, glad you are feeling better.

Since pred is so cheap, I have seen MO/MD's prescribe 2x as much as a patient needs, even if you have to pay out of pocket for part of it ($2?)

This enables patients to keep a supply at home AND at work, or another frequented place (loved ones, etc) so that IF you forget, you have some on hand where you are ... just an idea!
