ball-ache! 🏈🏈

Well, this whole thing is a massive ball-ache… but just recently I’ve had some dull testicular ache… a bit worried and will take to my oncologist, but just wondered if anyone else has experienced the same. I’m presuming it’s my balls starting to wither after 3 months of degarelix and enzalutamide… but maybe it’s more worrying? Balls!

Thanks… will talk to my doctor. It might have been too much cycling over the weekend… and newly sensitive balls can’t hack it.

I was getting dull aches after running (before being diagnosed). My cousin (not a runner) complained about the same dull aches and was referred to a biopsy confirming prostate cancer. After being on ADT for over 1.5 year I still sometimes get dull aches, but to a lesser extent (not too worrisome) and not all the time. I had a kidney stone before diagnosis as well which is said to be a possible cause. Maybe I still have a small one around.

Another possible cause in addition to epididymitis might be varicoceles, which are swollen scrotum veins.

This can be a symptom of testicular shutdown, so your assumption about your treatment is probably on the money.
