I've been reading about Keytruda from Merck. It's not been successful in 3 recent clinical trials for PCa but I may be invited to a new one that is assessing Keytruda as a neoadjuvant.
I've found a few stories here about Keytruda and I see some scary side effects. But I'm willing to balance that anxiety against the hope that being involved in research like this is key for future survivors of PCa.
This is just a placeholder for now and I'll add more later if I'm enrolled.
10/1 updated: Oops, I just realized this is not Keytruda at all. But enoblituzumab. Sorry if I misled anyone.

Keytruda has bombed in almost all trials for prostate cancer, except some rare metastatic kinds. It sounds like a big risk for low probability of benefit to me.
1. Your father is metastatic, not localized like RazorSaw
2. Even in metastatic men, Keytruda has failed to be better than SOC in all but those who are msi-hi/dmmr or high TMB/PD-L1, which are extremely rare in PCa.
Hi, I take Keytruda for my prostate cancer, because my blood work showed that it might work. nothing else worked up to this point. had my prostate removed, had radiation, Ellegard and Erleada. After my first infusion of Keytruda, my PSA went from 25 down to 0.07 Have had 9 infusions so far, side effects are manageable - rash, and tiredness. There is a small percentage of prostate cancer patients that this works for. Prayers.
