Full disclosure - getting a boner is NOT the biggest issue for us, I get it. But, QOL is important and for a lot of us (me included) my QOL would of course be better with hardness.
The medical field is pretty awesome but a thought I had the other day was:
We can get pills that will help us get an erection which is great. However, we need to be in the "mood" for lack of better word.
Seems like a missing goldmine for the drug industry in that we don't have a pill that can induce those feelings.
Thoughts?

I have never taken any so I cannot speak from experience but don't drugs like Ecstasy or MDMA have for purpose to put you "in the mood" ? I am not suggesting that you should take any of those but simply wanted to point out that drugs of that type already exist.
well mdma certainly boosts the cuddle component of intimacy - but I remember thanks to various girlfriends that some strains of weed were big libido boosters.
It doesn't increase libido (only testosterone can do that so far), but trimix can give you erections without libido.
Several drugs have been tried to induce libido - dopamine receptor agonists (bromocriptine, cabergoline, apomorphine, pramipexole, etc.) have been tried but do no better than a placebo.
Personally I'm more concerned with the loss of blood flow to this area.
Normally we would have 3-4 erections a night whilst asleep, and I'm curious about what effect losing the blood flow to this area has on healing the urethra etc. after all the damage caused by radiotherapy, which in my case is still significant after six months.
Definitely do not try an attempt at a second honeymoon. They found out during a second honeymoon most husbands now lock themselves in the bathroom and cry.
I use a vacuum pump as meds do nothing any more. It does not increase the mood though. the “mood” is in your head. i still love my wife and she turns me on mentally. i went through a long period of no sex and then just thought of what I (and she) was missing. It works for us.
