TCM (Chinese Medicine)

I have been taking approx 32 herbs , reishi mushroom powder for 8 years now and also have acupuncture once a month .
I am nearly 10 years after my T4n1m1a diagnosis
Can’t tell you what’s in it , the guy changes it from time to time . I believe he knows his stuff , tells me why some things I can’t have and gives me good questions for my doc from time to time .
Can’t telly you if it’s any good but still here and still running ultramarathons . Defo helped reduce my hot flushes and maybe helps fight the cancer but maybe does nothing , all I know is that in view of the longevity of my life since diagnosis I am not going to stop taking it .
That's great news. Sounds very promising. I hope you continue to respond well 😊
TCM is a very effective adjuvant treatment!
Where are you based? Where is your TCM doctor? Does he speak English? Thank you!
Yuantmc.co.uk is the clinic run by John Tindall who is English . Read his bio on the website . I have used for 8/9 years with herbs and acupuncture, definitely reduced hot flushes , as for the cancer who knows but I am still here and I believe it has made a difference and that’s enough for me
Thank you for the info. I wish the clinic is in US.
According to Chinese TCM, cancer is caused by many factors and the interactions of those factors. What TCM does is to eliminate or minimize those factors and re-balance the interactions so that the body is in good state itself to combat cancer or avoid cancer recurrence. It's a holistic and preventative approach addressing the root cause(s).
Western medicine system is what I call a "targetted approach". It is very good at eliminating the disease itself by surgery or radiation, etc. But it doesn't address the root cause(s). That's why after surgery or radiation, cancer may still come back.
The best approach IMHO is to combine these two medicine systems - use Western one to get rid of the cancer itself, and then use TCM as adjuvant treatment to re-balance the body to prevent it from recurrence and minimize side-effects.
You are doing the right thing. May you live a long and fulfilling life.
