My Husband's Update

Ok, so we had the results for my husband's ct scan and bone scan.The ct scan shows nothing🙏🏻 but according to the oncologist he ordered a nuclear total bone scan and they "mistakenly" did a bone scan with trace only.

Which it helped to find some decalcification on his left hip.

However, not that test that he ordered to detect bone metastasis🤦‍♀️ Now he has an appointment for August to have the nuclear total body scan.

Now I'm little confused that he ordered 2 of the same nuclear total body scan, one and August and one in September🤔

If someone can please help me if this makes sense? Overall good news! Getting ready for our trip🙏🏻 Thank you all for taking the time to read. Hug, forgive and Love. You are not alone, there's hope🙏🏻💛

He probably wants to compare the two scans to see if it's just a stable, benign lesion or a growing one.

AFAIK I've only ever had one kind of bone scan but I'm also not an oncologist.
