My last psma scan results are below. Please share your thoughts and experiences regarding my psma results. Is this a bad report or reasonably good?. My psa is undetectable. I am on ADT vacation now for the last 7 months. Should I start ADT now or wait untill psa is detectable?

1. SPLEEN: No new suspicious uptake. Slightly decreased conspicuity of mild uptake at the splenic hilum, image 168, SUV 9.9, previously 10.9.

2. ABDOMINOPELVIC NODES: No new tracer avid adenopathy. Decreased PSMA tracer uptake in the left celiac ganglion, image 185, SUV 12.6, previously 23.5.

Thanks in advance.

I don’t feel qualified to comment on your specifics. Your medical team should be where you go for your answers. All I can offer is my approach. I have advocated an aggressive approach with my medical team. Allowing cancer to grow in my body to be deductible before treatment does not make sense to me

Decreased PSMA-tracer uptake is good!

PSA comes from the largest tumors that have their own blood supply.

My husbands psma scan 10 months post radiation and 4 months post chemo, also showed similar results. His psa in undetectable since aug 2023, diagnosed in April 2023, treatment started in April zoladex, radiation in june 20 days to prostate and tge only bone met that show up on psma scan in pubic bone. Latest psma scan may 2024, showed the prostate to be suv max 2.5 from previous 3.9

And bone met 8.5 from previous 13 suvmax.

Psa is still undetectable. He has pten loss mutation as well.

So unsure if this is bad as the cancer is still lighting up. Its not clear scans like most people mentioned after radiation.

Could it be treatment failure?
