well it’s been a while since I posted my fellow warriors Started having hip issues a couple of months ago. Did a Ct and MRI as well as X-rays. Found that the ball was gone off my left hip , then on closer inspection found that the right hip the cancer had eaten all the way thru the upper femur ? Any rate surgeon scheduled me for surgery. They did a partial on my left and pinned my right. Yep both at one time. Rehab now. Only question is since they had to drill thru the cancer in my right what happens now. Will it stabilize or continue to spread. 🤬🤬😊

It is my personal opinion.
Oncologic surgeons will come up with a plan to fix the problem and slow down its spread.
I also read about hip replacement and other ideas in other forums. I think it will be important to understand the surgeon's plan for surgery and what he is trying to accomplish from surgery. It is important to remove the part and slow down its spread.
the risk that I know is
in the future, you may not be able to radiate the same part.
Questions I would ask: what are the other treatment options available after surgery?
You are in my prayers brother.

As far as your hip(s) are concerned, you deserve a purple heart for going though with the two of them at the same time. Unfortunately, I can't advise you regarding future issues with your hips, but if I were you, I sure as hell wouldn't go skating for the next couple of weeks....
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
