I was just informed by MSK that I will be on the TrueBeam system instead of MR-Linac, even though they have both technologies in-house. I am somewhat disappointed about not going with the MR-Linac option. Should I insist on MR-Linac? Is one technology more advanced and precise than the other?

TrueBeam vs MR-Linac
There is little difference in toxicity. They are both very good. The big difference is in the care ROs take in planning.
Precision requires scrupulous machine maintenance. If the MR LINAC is the US made the maker of which has gone out of business, then it may be wise to keep clear of it.
The MRI Linac had shown to have a very small dosage reduction effect mainly in bronchi, lung and rib areas. Otherwise, no difference.
Thank you all. I feel more comfortable going with TrueBeam after reading the comments.
FWIW, I was RT'ed by a TrueBeam with VMAT (20 session, 60 Gy total, in mid-2022.) I had gold fiducials, no spacer. No rectal issues so far, urinary status is OK, not exactly the same as before, but OK. I think my RO did a very good planning job.
Which technology (TrueBeam vs MR-Linac) has a better recurrence rate?
