I am doing a literature search for Prostate Cancer remedies. How is it that there is not a widely available chemical available that mimics, or is a glucose molecule with an attachment subgroup that poisons cancer cells? All that is needed is a change in pH beyond normal cell growth range. I myself have witnessed two thyroid carcinomas 100% reversed with honey and sodium bicarbonate in water taken orally for a matter of months. Of course there is no profit in healthy people, only sick people. Who out there can guide my search?

You know what? I wonder why no one has ever thought of that. Maybe you could be onto something? 😊

Fun aside, if you're looking at pH solutions, how about something like.....

''Recognition of the importance of the naturally occurring deuterium (present in 130-150 ppm abundance, equivalent to 15-17 mmol/L concentration) in maintaining normal cell growth opened up a novel form of cancer treatment and prevention. The first report by Somlyai et al. describing an anticancer effect of deuterium depletion in vitro and in vivo 15 appeared in 1993. The in vitro anticancer effect of deuterium-depleted water (DDW) has since been confirmed also by other laboratories.16,17 The key signal to stimulate cell division is probably the increasing D/H ratio, which in turn is the consequence of selective elimination of the light hydrogen by the Na+/H+ antiport after the binding of growth hormone to its receptor, leading to increased, that is, more alkaline, intracellular pH.18-20 Indeed, higher than natural D-concentration (300–600 ppm) was found to stimulate cell growth''

Wow, thanks for that comprehensive reply. Not that I understand it. I forwarded your reply to my Ph.d chemist friend for his perusal and possible follow up. I can't believe mine is a novel idea, seemingly not possible. The answer is surely out there in the literature. I am a geologic engineer not a chemist, so out of my depth.

The difficulty comes in focusing the treatment on just the cancer and not other systems in the body that have high metabolism rates, too, like the gut and the nervous system.

Tell me please how you do this honey and sodium thing ?

I was told by the lady sufferer that she mixed 4 Tblsp of honey and 4 Tblsp of sodium bicarb into 8 oz of water, then ingested several Tblsps twice a day. She said she also avoided all other sugars. This continued for several months. She swears her doctor declared her cured of a thyroid cancer. I spoke to her in person and that's her recipe. It makes some sense as cancer tumors reportedly consume much more glucose than normal cells. Food for thought.

Wouldn't it be simpler to proceed with already tested treatments, that is radiation/triplet therapy/... ?

What is triplet therapy? Asking for a friend.

Triplet therapy is: ADT like Lupron/Eligard/... + abiraterone/enzalutamide/apalutamide/darolutamide + chemotherapy. See: prostatecancer.news/search/...

sodium bicarbonate showed some success in mice cancer studies but at a dose that is poisonous to humans: 200g(!) dissolved in water, for an adult, daily. Some chinese study (TILA TACE) tried injecting a solution into tumors alternating with chemo and had some response as well, perhaps due to ph changes.

The risks of large doses of it on gastro tract and so on probably make it infeasible as a why-not-try hail mary type home remedy.

Wow, many thanks for that nugget. 200g would be a brick. The answer is out there somewhere. Cheers
