I was on xtandi for about 6 months. I had to change to zytiga due to the side effects of xtandi. My side effects included out of control BP, chronic constipation and fatigue. Zytiga has been more tolerable. That said, my own experience can be totally different from yours. When you say "you are going to stay out of it", implying that you are not going to take your medication, is this not a risky move? Why don't you discuss the side effects with your oncologist to see what can be done about it? Let's stay hopeful warriors, the medicines that will treat us are coming.
Hi brother I'm not going to stop taking my medication we're just taking a break closely monitoring my PSA that if it starts going up again I will definitely go back on xtandi again but as of right now just closely monitoring it to give my body a little bit of a break thanks for your reply God bless
I do take Zofran 4mg when I have a messed up stomach, and I also start drinking protein shakes in the morning and at night.
