my husband who has been on this journey for 4 1/2 years. It has finally taken its toll his platelets and blood counts have been low for the last four months and he has been given transfusions every week.
He cannot continue with any more treatments . Psa 1800 Mets in his entire skeleton.
has anyone else experienced your bone marrow damage through all of this?

Yes, about 16 months ago I had a bone marrow biopsy done because of bad blood values. Dx with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Basically, my blood making system is not working right: short on red blood cells, hemoglobin and platelets. Also too much iron. Radiation will cause it. The hematologist calls it a blood cancer. Not any good treatment options as the side affects are worse than the disease. 40% chance that it will become Acute Myloid Leukemia.
