Been reading posts for quite a while and now looking for some inspiration! Husband has been on this journey for 8 yrs the last 4 with CRPC with extensive bone mets ( see lengthy bio). Nov 2023 ended 5 infusions of Luteium due to low platelets- went on to have 3 quarter strength doses of Docetaxel which ended him in the hospital with sepsis due to severe mucositis and aspiration pneumonia. He has been getting stronger and bloodwork is slowly getting better. Both our local oncologist and our Dana Farber oncologist agree that he is not a candidate for future chemo and his best hope is another drug trial! Anyone out there been in this boat and have any recommendations for other treatments and/ referrals for consultation at other nationwide treatment centers? Thanks!

Most clinical trials require non-dangerous bloodwork.
You are in the US so there is alot of great info on Youtube under PCRI Prostate Cancer Research Institute Dr. Mark Scholz he is in Los Angeles. The best Dr. in the US in my opinion is Eugene Kwon at Mayo clinic in Minnesota. Either of these two Dr. were top on my list. I find the PCRI Youtube channel very helpful. I am flying to MN in two weeks to see Kwon. He has some great videos out as well.
