chemo and bone pain

Hi all

I am about to have my fourth chemotherapy session Docetaxel and I have had what appears to be the usual side effects especially in the first week but nothing too debilitating. However I have had pain from mets both in my hips and upper legs and my back. The pain in my back has lessened but my hip and leg pain has got worse so much so I find it difficult to walk any meaningful distance . So I am wondering if this increase of pain is some kind of Flair up and the chemo is working or if it means it is not working. Grateful for any comments.

Sometimes there is inflammatory pain at the site of metastases. Discuss increasing your corticosteroid for a few days.
